Qualities of those who can apply:
All high school seniors who will be attending college or vocational school for the first time in the Fall of 2024 can apply for the scholarship. The Fifth Friend Scholarship is intended for a student who comes from a divorced family and/or has struggled with ADD/ADHD during their high school career, however all students are encouraged to apply. There is no GPA requirements to apply for the Fifth Friend Scholarship.
Scholarship rules:
One scholarship will be awarded to the person who reflects qualities of our fifth friend. This will be judged based upon the essay responses, extra curricular activity list, and community service. No SAT/ACT scores will be considered. Award decisions will be determined by the scholarship committee.
Upon Request:
Students may be required to submit a transcript from their current high school as proof of enrollment. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.
This scholarship ($500) can be used for books, school supplies or tuition and can only be won by an individual once.
